- FOUND: I inspected and started vehicle numerous times. The no crank condition was not duplicated. I inspected the associated wiring to the starter assembly and found no fault. While starting the vehicle, there is what sounds like a slight dragging noise from the starter upon startup. I believe this noise to be internal to the starter assembly. Given the age and mileage of the vehicle, I suggest replacing the starter assembly. Recheck and verify proper operation and monitoring the condition The battery tested marginal during today's visit. The battery is almost 3 years old. AAA BATTERY 24F Date code 9-2022 Suggest replacing battery
