- PERFORM FUEL EVAPORATION SYSTEM DIAGNOSTIC TESTING.
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and found code P0456 present for an evaporative emission system leak. Using electronic leak detection equipment I pinpointed the source of the leak. The leak is present from the electrical connector on the canister vent solenoid that is mounted near the canister assembly.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE CANISTER VENT SOLENOID, REASSEMBLE, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.
