- INSPECT AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the customer's concern, that there is a loud rod knock type noise present with the engine running. This is a constant noise . I verified the oil pressure warning light is flashing. I found little to no measurable oil on the engine oil dipstick. Recommend engine replacement
- DRAIN FLUIDS AS REQUIRED, DISASSEMBLE, REMOVE ACCESSORIES AND COMPONENTS AS NECESSARY, REMOVE THE ENGINE ASSEMBLY, TRANSFER COMPONENTS AS NEEDED, REASSEMBLE WITH NEW GASKETS AND SEALS, INSTALL THE REPLACEMENT LONG BLOCK ASSEMBLY, REASSEMBLE, REPLENISH FLUIDS, MAKE NECESSARY ADJUSTMENTS, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.
- Inspect and make required adjustments to set "toe", "caster", and "camber" to factory specifications on the front and rear suspension (where applicable). Alignment warranty requires tire rotations and checking tire pressure in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
