- FOUND: Retrieved code P1249:00-EC. Wastegate Control Valve Performance. Verified vacuum supply to both Brake booster for brake concern and at wastegate for engine code concern. Both OK. With Brake booster connected and leaking, wastegate will not open when commanded, with the supply line to booster pinched off wastegate operates as designed. Recommend replace booster and retest.

- WE RETRIEVED "CHECK ENGINE" LIGHT CODE #P01249 (WASTEGATE VALVE PERFORMANCE FAULT) FROM THE POWER TRAIN CONTROL MODULE. AT THIS TIME WE FOUND THE BRAKE POWER BOOSTER FAILED CAUSING A LOW VACUUM CONDITION AND ALSO IS AFFECTING THE FLOW TO THE SENSOR. WE RECOMMEND TO REPLACE THE BRAKE POWER BOOSTER AND RECHECK THE SYSTEM OPERATION.
