- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is a drivabilty issue present. Using a scanner I was able to retrieve a stored diagnostic trouble code in the PCM. P2112-64 throttle actuator 'A' control system stuck closed. I inspected the throttle body and suspect the actuating gears are worn. These gears are integrated in the throttle body assembly. Recommend replaced throttle body assembly. Perform throttle body relearn procedure. Recheck verify proper operation. Continue diagnosis if needed.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE FUEL INJECTION THROTTLE BODY, REASSEMBLE, PERFORM REQUIRED RELEARN PROCEDURE, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.
- Extract the existing brake fluid, replenish the system with fresh fluid, bleed the system of any air or preexisting brake fluid.
