- FOUND:
- Extract the existing brake fluid, replenish the system with fresh fluid, bleed the system of any air or preexisting brake fluid.
- REPLACE THE ENGINE AIR AND CABIN FILTERS
- DRAIN AND REFILL TRANSFER CASE FLUID
- SERVICE THE AIR CONDITIONING SYSTEM AND ADVISE:
- Visual inspections of the system, test pressures, inspect compressor, belt and clutch operation, add refrigerant and retest Post service center outlet temperature: Post service high side pressure: Post service low side pressure:
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE AIR COMPRESSOR ASSEMBLY AND RECEIVER DRIER, REASSEMBLE, RECHARGE THE SYSTEM.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE BOTH INNER AND OUTER TIE ROD ENDS, REASSEMBLE.
- Inspect and make required adjustments to set "toe", "caster", and "camber" to factory specifications on the front and rear suspension (where applicable). Alignment warranty requires tire rotations and checking tire pressure in accordance with manufacturer's specifications.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE BOTH ENGINE MOUNTS, REASSEMBLE.
- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: Scanned vehicle for codes, found p2096 Bank 1 Post catalyst fuel trim lean. Test drove vehicle and watched o2 voltages and found bank 1 sensor 1 bias lean at 0.6-0.8 volts and not dropping down when switching. Fuel trims are +-4%. Smoke tested exhaust, no leaks found. Replaced bank 1 oxygen sensors and reset fuel adaptions, test drove vehicle and code still occuring. Removed Catalytic converter and inspected for leaks cracks. None found and mainfold gasket was replaced. Performed hard reset (touch + and – cables together for 30 seconds.) and test drove vehicle 8 miles, no codes at this time, o2 heater, cat and evap monitors set
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE EXHAUST MANIFOLD GASKET AND BOTH BANK ONE OXYGEN SENSORS, REASSEMBLE.
