- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is no significant drivabilty issue present. Preformed health check of vehicle and found dtc codes P0171 fuel system too lean bank 1, P0300 random misfire Found misfire coming from cylinders 1 and 3 wich are side by side on bank 1 Preformed inspection for any vacuum leaks and could not find any vacuum leaks, cleaned out MAF sensor. Preformed fuel pressure test and found 63psi of fuel pressure. The coolant level was found low. The customer states he has also been adding coolant. The cylinder head gasket is faulty or the cylinder head is cracked. The engine has 193,000 miles so a replacement engine is recommended for repair.

- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that there is a hesitation symptom present, especially under acceleration at higher vehicle speeds. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code P07f7-6D from the transmission control module. This code indicates that the gear 10 gear ratio is incorrect. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found the CDF drum sleeve has failed and is allowing incorrect pressure to enter the valve body causing multiple transmission malfunctions. Replacement and programming of the transmission assembly will be required. Recommend replacing the transmission and performing necessary programming.

- INSPECT AND ADVISE:I inspected the vehicle and verified of the client's concern that there is excessive noise from the front of the vehicle while braking. I found there is excessive noise present from the front brake pads. There's also excessive lateral run out with the front brake rotors that is causing a vibration symptom that can be felt while braking.
- FOUND: THE FRONT BRAKE ROTORS HAVE EXCESSIVE LATERAL RUN-OUT AND REQUIRE REPLACEMENT.
- Install premium grade brake pad set, clean and lubricate the caliper guides and hardware, inspect the hydraulic system reassemble and make adjustments as required. Remove brake rotors for resurfacing or replacement.
