    • PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
    • FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated, with no significant drivability issues. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code P144C, which indicates a purge flow performance fault during boost conditions. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found the purge valve has failed and no longer properly seals. This is the cause of the purge flow event during boost. Replacement of the purge valve will be required. Recommend replacing the purge valve, clearing the code, resetting the adaptive fuel strategy and test driving the vehicle to verify there are no additional faults.
