- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated, with no significant drivability issues. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code P144C, which indicates a purge flow performance fault during boost conditions. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found the purge valve has failed and no longer properly seals. This is the cause of the purge flow event during boost. Replacement of the purge valve will be required. Recommend replacing the purge valve, clearing the code, resetting the adaptive fuel strategy and test driving the vehicle to verify there are no additional faults.

- CLEAN AS BEST POSSIBLE AND INSPECT THE SOURCE OF LEAK(S) AND ADVISE. THE INSPECTION FOUND ENGINE OIL DRIPPING FROM THE CRANKSHAFT REAR MAIN SEAL.
- DISASSEMBLE, REMOVE THE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY TO GAIN ACCESS, REPLACE THE ENGINE BLOCK COVER GASKET, REINSTALL THE TRANSMISSION, REASSEMBLE, CLEAN AS BEST POSSIBLE.
- UPON REMOVAL OF THE TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY, WE FOUND ENGINE OIL LEAKING FROM THE REAR OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD INTO THE TRANSMISSION BELLHOUSING. FURTHER INSPECTION FOUND THAT THE OIL PRESSURE SENDER, LOCATED UNDER THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, TO BE THE SOURCE OF THE OIL LEAK. REMOVAL OF THE INTAKE MANIFOLD WILL BE REQUIRED TO GAIN ACCESS FOR REPLACEMENT OF THE SENDER.
- DISASSEMBLE, REMOVE THE INTAKE MANIFOLD, REPLACE THE OIL PRESSURE SENDER AND HIGH PRESSURE FUEL PIPE, REASSEMBLE WITH NEW GASKETS AND SEALS, CLEAN AS BEST POSSIBLE.
