- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is no significant drivability issue present. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code p0128, which indicates there's a cooling system performance fault. I test-drove the vehicle and found that the engine coolant temperature is cooler than anticipated. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found that the thermostat is no longer able to properly regulate engine temperature. Replacement of the thermostat assembly will be required. Recommend replacing the thermostat assembly.

- Install premium grade brake pad set, clean and lubricate the caliper guides and hardware, inspect the hydraulic system reassemble and make adjustments as required. Remove brake rotors for resurfacing or replacement.

- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: Customer states that the service steering system warning light indicator has illuminated and there is a loss of steering assist as I inspected the car and found out that the power steering pump is making a lot of noise/ grinding which prevents it from turning the wheel. And as I inspected furthermore I found out that there is a check engine light and has a code for po300 multiple misfire, and also a cold co450 steering assist actuator circuit current above the threshold but I also found out that there is a problem with the charging system with the voltage regulator internal with the alternator from 12 volts with loads on voltage drop all the way to 10 volts. Recommend replacing the power steering pump, power steering flush and the alternator assembly [OE] and continue with the diagnostic after replacing this parts.

- DROP OFF CHECK ENGINE LIGHT IS ON WITH NO OBVIOUS FAULTS
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is no significant drivability issue present. I retrieve diagnostic trouble code P0491, which indicates a secondary air injection fault. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found that the hose between the air injection pump and the combination valve, mounted on the rear of the cylinder head, has failed and will require replacement. Recommend replacing the secondary air injection tube, clearing the code and reevaluating system performance. In addition to the secondary air injection fault, I retrieved diagnostic trouble code P0171, indicating a lean condition is present. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found that the timing chain cover is leaking, causing a vacuum leak. Recommend replacing the timing chain cover.
