- FOUND: THE INSPECTION FOUND NO OBVIOUS LEAKS AT THIS TIME. THERE IS NO COOLANT FLOW. WE RECOMMEND INSTALLATION OF A FACTORY THERMOSTAT, THEN CONTINUE THE DIAGNOSIS.
- * NOTE: UPON INSTALLATION OF THE MOTORCRAFT THERMOSTAT, WE FOUND THAT THERE IS NO COOLANT CIRCULATION. WE SUSPECT A BROKEN WATER PUMP IMPELLER. FURTHER DISASSEMBLY WILL BE REQUIRED WITH ANTICIPATION OF REPLACING THE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE WATER PUMP ASSEMBLY, REASSEMBLE WITH A NEW TIMING CHAIN TENSIONER, GASKETS, SEALS, REPLENISH COOLANT, BLEED THE SYSTEM.
