    • PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
    • FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is no significant drivability issue present. I retrieved evaporative emission system code P0455 which indicates there's an evaporative emission system malfunction present. During my inspection I found there's no vacuum present from the purge valve to the canister. Further inspection found damage to the wiring harness to the purge valve assembly. Recommend removing necessary components in order to access the purge valve wiring harness for repair. During my inspection I found the fuel cap appears original. Suggest replacing the fuel cap.

    • PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
    • FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated, and there is no significant drivability issue present. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code P0420 which indicates the left side catalytic converter efficiency is degraded. I test-drove the vehicle and verified that the downstream oxygen sensor switch rate is significantly higher than anticipated. This indicates a lack of activity within the catalytic converter. Replacement of the left side catalytic converter will be required.
    • CHECK ENGINE LIGHT DIAG CLUNK IN THE REAR WHEN PUT INTO GEAR
    • Roadtest, inspect the integrity of the steering and suspension components, inspect the front and rear tires, inspect for excessive "play" in the wheel bearings and other related components, and advise. There's excessive radial play in the right side inner CV joint. Recommend replacing the axle and continuing the inspection if needed. We found the right side rear axle to have excessive play. We recommend to replace the axle and recheck the operation.
