The dealership said the hydraulic control arm bushings are leaking and needed to be replaced. New spark plugs were also recommended.
INSPECT THE FRONT SUSPENSION FOR DAMAGED / LEAKING BUSHINGS AND ADVISE:
Roadtest, inspect the integrity of the steering and suspension components, inspect the front and rear tires, inspect for excessive "play" in the wheel bearings and other related components, and advise: Customer states that the dealership said that the hydraulic control arm bushings are leaking and need to be replaced. They also recommended new spark plugs to be replaced. Inspect vehicle and advise. According to our service information, the spark plug replacement service is not due until 60k. I performed a test drive and inspected the vehicle. I verified the customers concern that one of the control arm bushings is leaking hydraulic fluid. (See photos on lower control arm inspection line) There are a total of (4) lower control arms on the front end of this vehicle. The remaining control arms and their bushings appear to be okay at this time. Recommend replace the right front rear position lower control arm. Given the age and mileage, I suggest replacing both rear position lower control arms at the front.

WE FOUND THE FRONT & REAR BRAKE LININGS IN SPECIFICATIONS AT THIS TIME.
PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and found only the service due reminder to be illuminated at the dash. Using a scanner I was able to retrieve some diagnostic trouble codes that have been stored. P2188 system too rich at idle Bank 1. With the engine running at idle, I was able check for an excessive vacuum reading to be present at the oil dipstick tube. The reading I got was approximately three to four inches of vacuum. There should be a slight negative 1 inch of vacuum or less. This indicates a problem with the PCV system. Recommend replace crankcase breather assembly. Recommend clean throttle body and perform throttle body basic setting using a scanner. Recommend recheck vacuum reading to verify proper operation. Continue diagnosis if needed

PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
FOUND: The customer States that the check engine light came on with no obvious symptoms. The vehicle came in with DTC p2070 intake manifold tuning valve Bank One stuck open, p2006 intake manifold flap Bank 1 stuck closed, p2007 intake manifold flap 2 stuck closed, and p2404 evap leak detection pump send circuit implausible signal. Upon inspection I found a vacuum hose that goes to the intake manifold tuning valve was broken causing a vacuum leak on the EVAP system and causing the manifold tuning valve to not have sufficient vacuum to open the manifold flaps. I fixed the vacuum line and take it for a test drive. No codes came back at this time.
