- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and found the transmission failure lamp is illuminated. I found code 48 present for excessive slip in the torque converter. I inspected the vehicle while monitoring the input and output shaft speed sensors and the perceived slip interpreted by the transmission control module. The transmission control module is majoring in excessive amount of slip. This is an indication of an internal failure with the transmission or torque converter assembly. The check engine light is illuminated with code 2761 which indicates there is a fault with the secondary air injection system. Code p0305 is present for a misfire concern on the number 5 cylinder. Code p0302 is present for a misfire concern on the number two cylinder. Code CD8B is present for a CAN class II communication error with the PCM. Code 2974 is present for the bank two front oxygen sensor circuit.
