- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and confirmed the customer's concern, that the check engine light is illuminated. Using a scanner I was able to retrieve a stored diagnostic trouble code. P0128 coolant temperature below thermostat regulating temperature. I perform necessary testing and found that the thermostat is intermittently staying open Recommend replace thermostat, gasket and recheck for proper operation. After talking to Christine she is going to purchase a new vehicle rather than perform repairs.
