- TEST THE STARTING/CHARGING SYSTEM AND ADVISE: I inspected the vehicle and confirm the customer concerned at the battery indicator is illuminated at the dash
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and confirmed the customer's concern, that the battery indicator is illuminated at the dash. Further diagnostic testing confirmed that the alternator has failed and is not charging. The battery condition test results were marginal during today's visit. We will re-charge and retest the battery during today's visit. Recommend replace alternator assembly. Recommend charge battery (marginal results) Suggest replace drive belt while it is removed Recheck and verify proper operation
- DISASSEMBLE, REPLACE THE ALTERNATOR ASSEMBLY, REASSEMBLE, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.
