- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated, there is a drivability issue present and a noticeable noise at idle during the concern. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code p0302 which indicates there is an issue with the number two cylinder. Following the outlined instructions provided by the manufacturer I performed a cooling system leak down test and found there is coolant entering the cylinder due to a faulty manufacturing process during engine building. Replacement of the engine with an updated engine design will be required. Recommend installing the updated engine available from Ford to remedy this problem.
