- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and flashing, and there is a significant drivability issue present. I retrieved diagnostic trouble code p0355 which indicates there's a primary circuit fault with the number 5 ignition coil. I performed necessary diagnostic testing and found the wiring to the ignition coil has been damaged due to varmint infestation. I repaired the wiring, cleared the code and test drove the vehicle. I found there are no additional misfires present. Monitor the condition and advise.
- DISASSEMBLE, REPAIR THE ELECTRICAL WIRING AS REQUIRED, REASSEMBLE, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.
