- PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
- FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and found code P0506 present for an unstable idle condition. I performed necessary diagnostic testing related to the idle stability issue and found the throttle body is dirty and is out of self calibration specification. Recommend performing a fuel system induction service. Code P0014 is present for incorrect valve timing. During the inspection I found the camshaft adjuster solenoid is leaking oil. I recommend replacing the camshaft adjuster solenoid, clearing the code and test driving the vehicle to verify the timing actuator located at the end of the camshaft operates as designed.
- VARIABLE VALVE TIMING SOLENOID – Remove & Replace
- Induce a cleaner to service the intake valves, intake plenum, combustion chamber, piston tops, + add a concentrated cleaner to the fuel tank. Take advantage of these cleaning chemicals by filling your fuel tank right away!
