PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that the check engine light is illuminated and there is no significant drivabilty issue present. Preformed health check of vehicle and found dtc codes P0171 fuel system too lean bank 1, P0300 random misfire Found misfire coming from cylinders 1 and 3 wich are side by side on bank 1 Preformed inspection for any vacuum leaks and could not find any vacuum leaks, cleaned out MAF sensor. Preformed fuel pressure test and found 63psi of fuel pressure. The coolant level was found low. The customer states he has also been adding coolant. The cylinder head gasket is faulty or the cylinder head is cracked. The engine has 193,000 miles so a replacement engine is recommended for repair.
