    • PERFORM NECESSARY DIAGNOSTIC TESTING AND ADVISE:
    • FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and verified the client's concern that there is extensive damage to the vehicle wiring harness from a rodent infestation. The damage can be repaired except for the oxygen sensor. The sensor will require replacement. Recommend removing necessary components in order to repair the wiring to the manifold absolute pressure sensor, oxygen sensor and air conditioning system. Recommend replacing the rear oxygen sensor due to damage to the harness.
    • DISASSEMBLE, REPAIR THE ELECTRICAL WIRING AS REQUIRED, REASSEMBLE, TEST FOR PROPER OPERATION.

I found during today's inspection the growling noise to be coming from the transmission/ transfer case assembly.

    • There is a humming sound coming from the wheels, perhaps it's the bearings?
    • Roadtest, inspect the integrity of the steering and suspension components, inspect the front and rear tires, inspect for excessive "play" in the wheel bearings and other related components, and advise: I performed a test drive and confirmed the customers concerned. That there is excessive noise from one of the wheel bearings. Further inspections found at the right rear wheel bearing is worn out and will need to be replaced. Recommend replace right rear wheel bearing. Recheck and verify for proper operation.

    • FOUND: I inspected the vehicle and confirmed that the battery light is illuminated. Further inspections found that the drive belt has failed. The idler pulley has seized which caused the belt to come off. With the alternator no longer being driven by the belt charging light has illuminated Recommend charge and recheck battery. Recommend replace Drive belt. Recommend replace idler pulley.
